There is a reason that Computerhire South West have 5 star reviews! Having spoken to Ian over the phone twice, his attempts to help me sort out my laptop problem unfortunately didn’t work so I had to visit the shop. Within 5 minutes of being there he identified the problem and I was on my way back to work. My laptop wasn’t broken, I was just an idiot (my words, not his)!!
He is clearly very knowledgeable, but beyond that he didn’t patronise me or make me feel stupid when we discovered that my laptop wasn’t actually broken.
If I ever have a reason to need a computer repair service for myself or my family in the future, you can bet I will be going straight back there!
Just had a new computer built by them to replace and update the one they built for me about 12 years ago. They have built the new one to a very good specification, which hopefully will future proof me for several years just like the old one did. Only changing up reluctantly as old system will not run windows 11. They have in the past helped both myself and some friends with other computer problems. Even though I now live in Devon I chose them to build my new machine.
I called in today after my laptop died . Ian was so helpful, he quickly identified that the problem was with the power supply- that was faulty – gave me a new cable and wouldn’t let me pay him . This experience , his knowledge and kindness really made my day . Everyone should use this amazing service – aly
