My girlfriend bought me an apple watch as a Christmas present in this COMSPOT store.
I synced it with my iPhone and tried it on Christmas eve and decided it’s not for me.

When we tried to return it, or change it for an iPad, they wouldn’t let us do this. Three days after Christmas.

Their reason for this was that the apple watch was synced to my apple account and once this is done the return policy is gone.

This didn’t sound very apple customer service like to me. Nor the right you have as a buyer in Germany.

Back home, again I called apple customer service and asked them about the situation. Their response was that they would accept the product in return for 14 days.

When I call the COMSPOT store to tell them about this, they said they would accept the return deducting 10% of the price, the apple watch was 455 euros.

The apple watch was unboxed very carefully with all the boxing and foil material intact and no signs of use on the apple watch.
They didn’t even care to look at the apple watch packed in its original package like new, already in reset mode.

Not sure what we should do with the apple watch. But for sure we won’t spend the time to go back to the store and return it with a 10% deduction!

I would recommend doing your purchases directly with apple rather than with COMSPOT.

I went in today to request assistance with my broken apple charging cable, that was within the 1 year warranty period. I was first assisted by a large, Hagrid looking shop assistant, who was rude and impatient, not even listening, before firing berating comments. The only positive to the store is the young guy who then took over once I requested to discuss in English. Contrary to the older man, he was professional, patient and actually tried to find a solution, which, when was rejected (again very rudely and bluntly by his colleague), he delivered in an empathetic and professional tone, along with recommendations for further steps I can try. While his help was appreciated, I do not believe the first man has a place in customer service. Especially not in a store that is supposed to be a certified Apple reseller, a brand that is well known for their highly professional customer care. I will not be visiting this store again, which is extra annoying as I was planning on making further purchases, for which I will have to now find another merchant, even if further from home.

Ich war heute wegen der Reparatur eines IPads dort und bin wirklich sehr zufrieden. Das Personal war ausserst sympathisch und freundlich und absolut kompetent. Sie haben das IPad wieder zum Laufen gebracht, obwohl es auf den ersten Blick etwas problematisch wirkte. Aber ich konnte das Gerat danach wieder mit nach Hause und in betrieb nehmen. Ich bin absolut happy und mochte mich hiermit noch mal ganz doll bei Euch bedanken.
