If I could rate less than 1 star I’d do it. Never been so mistreated in a store like this experience I just had.
All started when I had to change one damaged door of one furniture I bought in Conforama, in Tourville warehouse.
When we was there in Tourville they told us that they didn’t have the door but they could order the door.
So we asked the lady to check if they have the door in Rouen and even if they haven’t we preferred to order in Rouen.
Once we arrived in Rouen my wife started to explain our situation to the attendant and his first phrase was that he had the door in stock but he wouldn’t help us because we bought In Tourville and he (Rouen warehouse) had nothing to do with that.
After that there was discussions with the responsible of the warehouse and lot of stress.
They even insinuate that myself and my wife was not telling the truth to them.
I work with process improved, I saw so many mistakes in service to client in this exerience.
It is clear that Conforama is not ONE company. It is a mix of pieces of companies. It is Just NOT true the national Conforama chain story. One person is not able to see the whole chain available stock. There is no clear information In the warehouse facilities for costumer services. The manager and the attendant of the warehouse are clearly not trained to deal with clients. Definitely I can bet that they are even not well paid, add to that the layer of not politeness where in the middle of our agurment they implied that my wife and myself was not telling them the truth about what happened in Tourville warehouse. I live in France for few years now, in general the services relations with clients in europe is mediocre even low average compared to American continent or Asia ( I lived in both continents and I can tell/fell the difference). what Miss here is a vision of process efficiency humanity and williness to solve clients problems. Conforama is far from those objectives. The employees I met today are just simple prove of how far they are from those objectives.

If you are an exchange student, I would highly recommend visiting conforama to get yourself set up. The goods here are byfar the cheapest that you will find in Rouen. Bedsheets from EUR10, pillows from EUR20. If you are just getting to Rouen or are looking for high quality but affordable goods for your room, this is the place to go.
The store is quite large. The electronics are in the back of the store and the pillows are to the left after you walk in. The one thing that I will say is that there isn’t a lot of staff here, so if you need help, be sure to know a bit of French so you can read the signs for directions. Happy shopping!
I just visite there this afternoon,,so hot ,no any climatisation,,, not so many peoples. not so many sercive to help your question fastly,and one of them is not so nice.
