I only like to give good reviews… but unfortunately I need to warn people. If you have an Apple laptop do not get a third party battery from here, as it didn’t work for me. Loong is a really lovely man and I really trusted him. But for whatever reason the battery he put in didn’t work. He offered to change it, but by this stage I had lost confidence in his ability to fix my laptop. It is my livelihood. I need it to work asap. So I went to Apple and they ran a full diagnostic and it was just the battery. Loong had told me it was something else and definitely not the battery. Unfortunately after much discussion, he will not refund me for the cost of the batter $199 (I gladly pay for the labour). I am a sole trader, I am struggling to make a living. $199 is a substantial amount for me to loose. Anyway. I tried to resolve this and sadly it came to this having to warn people to please take your Macbook laptop to Apple – avoid wasting money on third party risks. I learnt the hard way.
CPRepairs has rapidly and effectively fixed my phone when I couldn’t find any providers in my part of Melbourne (northside) that could get me parts in a matter of weeks (I have an odd phone and I am a labourer so my phone is at risk). If the efficiency wasn’t enough, and that is generally all I’d need to win me over, when they have been able to do things quicker than usual they’ve offered to do things faster than previously agreed. The worker is very thoughtful and friendly and the prices are beyond competitive, they don’t make me regret not buying a new phone. I have come here four times and I will come here again for sure seen as I’m very likely to break my phone again. I am very satisfied.
Broke my iPod
I needed my iPod 4th gen classic restored as I did not own a Mac book I came to cp repair labs as they have done iPods in the past
When I brought the iPod in to be restored but it got fully disassembled for an inspection, the hold switch and headphone Jack connector had been ripped of the ribbon cable(see image)
when it was given back to me he told me the hold switch was broken but not that he broke it I thought it was fine as I had opened the iPod before I came to the shop and everything was in working condition
I have tried to resolve over SMS but I haven’t had text in a week
