For the past 3 years my Macbook has been broken due to liquid damage (ginger shot), on top of minor battery issues. A few years ago I went to the Apple store to get it fixed and they quoted me such an extortionate price I nearly fell to the floor.

Firstly, it’s rare you see a business with consistently amazing reviews and I can say Wayne deserves his flowers and more. I went to him as a last hope, in my mind I thought the outcome would’ve been ahh my laptop is beyond repair and I better start saving for the next one. I’m a creative so this is really my livelihood, saving PS1k+ for a new mac is unrealistic.

I went to Wayne and he reassured me that it would be fixable, I loved in our consultation he wasn’t assuming oh so and so may be damaged.. This may need fixing also… Facts only, he opened up my Macbook and with a mini camera showed me the parts that were affected, explained the technical stuff in a way I’d understand. No lies, the ginger shot had left it mark on almost every part of my laptop, it wasn’t an easy job.

Just under 3 weeks my laptop is back to life, I was so surprised all my files were still intact. Nothing was erased. Wayne was updating me through the whole fixing stages, he’s such a hard-worker, friendly, genuine, excellent service throughout and all of this for a VERY affordable price.

I spilt coffee near my MacBook Pro (ok, maybe few drops on the keyboard) and 2 days later it stopped working without any possibility to turn it on again. I went to an official Apple Service Centre where I had to leave the laptop for a week just to learn that they want to replace full logic-board (and keyboard) asking for that huge bill of PS1300 and 10 days of time. This was while I was abroad in Montenegro.

I then went online and found Croydon Computer Medic, in the UK when I came back to visit, Wayne gave it his all to help me. He fixed my laptop in a few days only and charged me 4 times less. Since then the MacBook has been working even better than before!

A year later and back in the UK I needed Wayne’s help yet again, the 2nd time when my other laptop stopped charging. Wayne replaced the battery and the laptop was ready to pick up the next day. Before the repair the battery lasted only a few hours, now it lasts 3 days tops.

My laptop won’t boot up after I changed thermal paste myself, and I am glad that Wayne is the one running the shop, truly a gem shop for computer repairs. I got in touch through Google map at first, oeverall communication with Wayne has been great and responsivce. He is experienced, honest, and worked fast; unlikely other repair shops I have been to in London which either are imcompetent to solve anything (all they do is changing the motherboard etc.), or extremely time consuming and expensive for nothing. The rate Wayne charges is really reasonable and affordable as well. Overall, now I have a place I can trust for computer related things.
