+ if your device needs service during a trip (even a long one), better just wait until you get back home, in my case it took 3 months already and I’m still counting…
I sent them my laptop around 3 months ago, they didn’t even start working on it yet. I paid around 500EUR for the repair, and they wrote me two days ago that the part needed is no longer being produced, and in a following mail that I can wait for the part… Uhm, did they start producing it again within 2 hours? Something doesn’t seem quite right… And come on Samsung, who stops producing parts for a laptop that’s not even a year old? Hah. Some bad deals made with other companies, or wanna make us change laptops every couple months? Polluting our environment…
The contact with the service is hard, they reply to maybe one out of three mails I send (or even less), and it takes quite some time for them to answer (days or even a week).
When my laptop arrived at the service I got a mail with a picture of a laptop that’s not mine and they claimed it to be mine. I was real scared, it’s not a cheap thing. I wondered if they lost mine or what? Then they sent me the right one… Extremely unprofessional. I started wondering whether they’ll send the right one back… I’m still scared, but I don’t know when we’ll get this far as sending it back… 3 months at a service, that’s not funny anymore.
And more on this part that’s needed to fix it: It should have arrived on the 7th, then on the 23rd… And now..? I don’t know, still waiting for their reply. Honestly, I think they never ordered it and are playing some games now. It’s the most stressful experience with a tech service I’ve ever had. The Samsung Service in Poland, on the contrary, is amazing, I hoped for the same or better in Germany… Well, nope, not at all.
I’m also currently writing my thesis, which is irritating, honestly, after getting used to Windows 11 and all the functions which make it so comfortable for it to work on… Now I’m stuck with a Windows 7, 3kg and slow something. But hey, IT WORKS. After 10+ years (was a top laptop back then, can run some heavy programmes still, has i7 etc, but ofc it’s slower). It’s a Dell and I highly recommend this company. Will be getting back to it after the Samsung one won’t be working anymore.
I was checking out their new smartwatch last week, because I got to know it has some nice functions that would come in handy, but I think that’s it for Samsung after this “wonderful” experience with this Service. You lost a client, who was buying your phones for the last 10 years and encouraging other people to buy your products. Lost another one, cause we stick to the same company with my husband. Two smartphones and the Book3 Pro 360 17″ were bought after my recommendation. Won’t be recommending anymore and I hope for the person who has the Book3 to never get the famous screencrack, which happens on its own and you take no responsibility for that and make people pay… for nothing so far. Like in my case… I’m very, very disappointed.
The customer service of CTDI needs definitely some enhancements. They answer almost only through the email within 48 hours . The telephone number was always with the answer machine message which ended with ending the call cz all lines are busy !!
After repairing the device they sent it just like that without informing the customer when it was sent or the ETA of the package !! They should consider that the customer may be in a vacation or travel often and they should firstly ask about a convenient appointment for delivery. This comment about sending items issue is not the first in the comments here and I think it won’t be the last
