Wanted to purchase a clearance item that was in a sealed box.
Told I could not inspect in the shop nor if I went outside and found there was an issue could I return and the only way to do so was to purchase online and then I would have a 14 day return period .
Also that any issue in 12 months I should deal with manufacturers.
Come on currys stop getting your staff to give out misleading information and get them properly trained on Consumers rights. 2 stars because the price was right and to my benefit.

We wanted to purchase a sound bar and new phone. We waited for over 30m and eventually, someone asked if we wanted help, we said yes. We waited another 5 minutes, and a man said he would be with us after finishing with his current customer.
10m later he finished with them, and promptly moved on to a new customer who had arrived after us and did not acknowledge this. We walked out spending nothing, incredibly poor customer service, which we have sadly found is standard for Curry’s these days.
Went into Currys to look at appliances for a new kitchen. Tried to find someone to talk to or find some information on the various appliances (having seen TV adverts describing the number of experts available). No one was around so eventually left the store. Also fair to say there is little to no comparison data to help to choose between different models. A waste of my time. Will not be giving my money to Currys.
