I had an extremely disappointing experience with Currys, particularly regarding their customer service and return policy. Recently, I purchased a couple of electronics, including a free-standing 60 cm cooker, from their Slough store. One of the staff member who assisted us, assured us that if we changed our mind, we could get a refund and that Currys would even arrange a pick-up. We specifically inquired about the appliances return policy, and he didn’t mention that opened packages would not be accepted for return.

When we found out that the cooker didn’t fit by just a few centimeters,and we went back there with in 24 hour of delivery for a refund or exchange with small sized cooker and the store refused to exchange or refund it. This led to a frustrating 2.5-hour ordeal where we were repeatedly passed around without any resolution. There was another customer with a similar issue about non fitting oven was also ignored.

Currys staff kept reiterating their policy, which we found to be extremely unfair for the customer. Their policy states that once a product is opened, it cannot be returned. This is unreasonable because you can’t determine if an item will fit without opening the box. Overall, our experience with Currys was waste of time, money and energy. Very Disappointing!

Came to buy a TV from the store today I saw the TV that I wanted and I was eventually approached by our sales assistant. I was told that I would have to pay a PS25 delivery cost. I asked if I could collect the TV once it was in stock and I was told that I would have to check on a daily basis myself online. I explained that I could leave my email address and if they were able to contact me once the TV was in store, I would come and collect but again I was told by the assistant it was not possible for them to contact me.
The TV that I saw was PS800 TV I like the TV but left empty-handed. I wish I had taken down the name of the assistant. It was a gentleman with a beard and curly pushed up hair. I have spent over PS3000 at this store over the last two years I will never shop at the store again

The customer service and return policy at the Slough store are extremely poor. It’s evident from the reviews that they don’t prioritize customers. Visiting the store is pointless; they are only interested in making a sale. Once you’ve bought something, they disregard any issues or concerns you might have. They also fail to explain their policies clearly. It’s better to shop online, where the return policy is somewhat more flexible. Overall, the experience is very disappointing.
