I ordered a fridge and a washing machine to be delivered, and was given a four hour time slot. On the delivery day, having taken the afternoon off work, I followed the tracking link as it went way beyond my delivery slot. Eventually it said I was the next delivery. I looked again a few minutes later and it was saying ‘cancelled’. I immediately called the contact number given, and after going through numerous options – none of which were relevant to my issue – I managed to speak to a customer service operator. He checked my order then told me that the driver had claimed I wasn’t in, which was an easily disproveable lie because his vehicle was fitted with a tracking device. I was then told there was nothing that he could do, and to contact the store. I asked for the number and was informed that their stores do not have contact numbers, and I would have to go there in person, a drive of 45 mins. Long story short, they rearranged the delivery for two days later, necessitating another half day off work. Needless to say, I will never buy anything from this joke company again.

Went recently to look at electrical goods here.

While the prices may not be perhaps as competitive as some online prices, here you can buy extended warranties which some online retailers do.not offer.

The staff were super helpful and they were accommodating too. Had reasonable knowledge.

This was a nice little visit and you can check out many goods easily which are neatly laid out.

This retail park has recently started to fill up with businesses after some major rtetailers like toys r us went bust.

It has an aldi, massive Asian food market called Umrah and discount stores too.

Plenty of parking but can be busy leaving.and entering the main car park back onto the ring road at peak times.

Tip if your needing south is take the left as you leave not the queue for the ring road and you can join further up heading.

My laptop which I bought from Curry’s broke down out of warranty and I enquired to have it fixed. They told me they want to charge me PS75 just to check what the problem is. I have everything on my laptop and need it fixed but charging PS75 just to have it checked by a technician is exaggerating. Obviously their repair prices will be way higher considering what they charge to check a faulty item out of warranty. DO NOT BUY from currys
