Were it possible to give a minus rating I would not hesitate to do so. Instead, I am forced to give a flattering one star score! On 7 January I went with my wife to our local Currys branch to buy her a new phone After standing for some minutes in the phone department, a salesman was despatched to serve us from a group of four or five, who were standing chattering. We chose a Samsung phone and were told that we would need a new charger. We were given the choice of a black one or a white one. My wife chose a black one. After consulting a colleague, the salesman then to told us that we could not buy the black one – no reason was given. I then paid for both the phone and the white charger, and was told, confirmed by email, that the phone would be delivered to the shop for collection on 9 January. After hearing nothing from the store, I phoned their head office on 11 January. The person I spoke to told me that she would initiate an investigation and also raise a complaint on my behalf. By now all I wanted was to cancel the order and get a refund. With this in mind I went to the store on 12 January, only to be told that they could not do this, as it would have to be handled by head office. However, when the girl checked her computer she told me that the phone I had ordered had been lost in transit to the store. A fact about which no one had bothered to tell me. As of 13 January I have been left out of pocket and with no phone.

I asked my mum to nip in to buy me a apple Mac Studio M1 ultra, and preorder the new ASUS rog ally for tomorrows release date (I was hesitant as curry’s has a horrible rep), anyway she had my card and went in. She’s 68 year old and asked a member of staff for a little help and the staff member replied with an exhale and “what do you want”, she said she’s sorry to pester the member of staff and she’ll ask somebody else, the staff member replied back with “ok” while walking away…?
She rang me to tell me this and I told her to leave it and go else where.
Just lost out on a 5 grand sale because of someone who doesn’t care for your business.

Absolute joke, currys need to train their online advisors properly
I ordered a washing machine and paid for installation even telling the advisor it didn’t plug in the wires were in the wall didn’t know at the time it’s called hard wired and was told no problem ohh yes it is guys couldn’t fit it then told by my son I would have to get a plug fitted as the warranty would be void if I got someone to hard wire it in, my advice to a bone is DO NOT take advice from the jokers sitting on a webcam telling you a load of rubbish!! And avoid buying from currys!!
