1 star is too many but, zero isn’t an option.

What an absolute shambles this store is, from the shop floor staff to the store management.

We visited to price up several appliances, we returned a week later to order them. The prices had all increased by 15-20% in just a few days. The staff shrugged their shoulders at us and simply said “It’s the way it is”

We continued with the order, PS1800 worth of kitchen appliances. Well, at least we thought we had. Turned out Natalie upstairs had taken our money but, failed to process the actual order itself.

We had to wait, in our new home, with no appliances, for a further 3 days. The tumble dryer then arrived with a massive crack in the top. The delivery guys weren’t much use. They just took it away and told us to go back into store.

As advised we went back into store and asked to speak to a manager. A gentleman called Mark “The manager” arrived who, quite frankly, couldn’t deal with a complaint if it came gift wrapped, with instructions.

Mark quickly fobbed us off, in a very unproffessional, rude, and nervous manner then he passed us over to someone else on the shop floor. Mark was obviously too busy rearranging phone chargers or something similar. Surely a manager should see a complaint through from start to finish.

We were refused delivery of the items in stock on that day, telling us we would have to book yet another day off work to wait for delivery.

In the end we had to choose a different tumble drier, pay more for it, and take it home in our own vehicle.

The staff just did not care! We did not receive an apology until we engaged with the third member of staff. Shocking service.

Whilst there 2 other customers were complaining about faulty/damaged goods. The staff just couldn’t deal with it. There are serious training issues in this store and lack of processes being followed.

Stay away – use a different electrical supplier in Telford.

This store creates all the special moments. The staff are good at searching products on the tablets, filtering products which i need. The tv which i got was great value at PS250. Two parts which i dislike are I have to wait 25 minutes on average to request an item due, to the staff serving other peoples needs that’s quite some time. Another is i do not like that Kaspersky due, to its origins but, currys don’t have them i went to my second home abroad and the retailers are selling that brand. The positives to take from Currys is they have great value redeem cards for Norton and Mc fee primarily, I always buy the card instead of subscribing online. Also I do not recommend care and repair or insurance, for example a phone has gorilla glass and has been hyperly tested by brands , so why buy insurance when the phone has gorilla grass?

I notice that models which people buy 2 years before are no longer available which is great.

Currys has a partner store car phone warehouse which sells premium phones and SIM deals, mine is
id mobile 5G which is incredibly fast downloads at 420 Mbps on a regular basis, you can download 100GB game in 35 minutes with regular high speeds this has to be done through mobile hotspot not another device apart from smartphone.

If it were possible to give zero stars, that is what this company would deserve. We purchased a camera that was listed as available in their system, completed the payment, and received a receipt on Monday. To our surprise, when we returned to Telford on Friday of that week, we discovered that the item had not been ordered through their portal. We were informed that it was already late and that they would contact us the following day, Saturday.

Saturday passed without any communication from the company regarding the status of our order. Later that day, I spoke with a staff member named Sam, who informed me that there was one item available in Birmingham he gives me 3 option to get a full refund, 2nd ill get the camera to that branch ‘BIRMINGHAM’ or they will get it but Tuesday. However, it is now Monday, and we have been attempting to contact the company to ensure the item will arrive by Tomorrow . Despite spending an hour on the phone, no one has answered our calls.

This experience has been exceedingly frustrating and unprofessional. We expect prompt resolution and better communication regarding the fulfilment of our order.
