Promised myself I wouldn’t buy from Currys again after they delivered a coffee maker and a television instead of two televisions and took 3 weeks to correct their mistake. But I was in the market for a range cooker and a friend said this store had a large selection in stock.
There is a huge area for range cookers and they do have a really great selection – it’s really helpful to be able to see them in real life and Currys present them really well with stickers on each oven door with key features on. They also seemingly claim their prices won’t be beaten with signs everywhere saying You won’t buy cheaper . I was really impressed.
What was less impressive was trying to get any of the numerous staff to help you buy. 3 of them appeared to be helping a customer buy a vacuum and another four were standing around having a good chat. I didn’t like to interrupt
So while I was waiting for someone to notice me I bought the one I’d decided on from another company online. Turns out it was several hundred pounds cheaper too so ultimately was happy to have been ignored. A very successful trip ( for me at least, maybe less so for Currys )

I feel like the shop/inventory of the shop is excellent. But I feel as though the staff are very rude and impolite. I brought an oven from here I needed to have specific (mains) as we do not have Electric but only gas. I explained this several times and then the sales person basically gave us false information on a range cooker and had us buy something we couldn’t even get Installed. I then went a couple of days later for my refund and the manager basically had an argument with me on the shop floor.

Also Recently I had to collect an item from the shop me and my partner stood waiting at the support bit for overall an hour as the employees was chatting amongst themselves. ( it was 5pm and there was hardly any customers in the shop) then eventually after my partner approached a employee to explain the situation a manager said the colleague ” I finish in 5 minutes” whilst he basically watched us stood there like idiots. Overall very rude employees.

I recently visited the store looking for a gaming monitor. Although the waiting time was longer than anticipated due to the staff being extremely busy and the store clearly understaffed, I received excellent guidance and support throughout my entire visit. I would like to specifically mention my experience with Sophie. She helped me secure my new monitor, which I’m sure will provide years of entertainment. Sophie clearly knew what she was doing, asking about my specific needs and ensuring that the product met them.
