A shacking and appalling level of service from curry’s. I cannot recommend the Folkestone store and I’d advise customers to travel to Canterbury for their shopping experience. The staff at the Folkestone store clearly aren’t blessed with abundance of schooling, are rude, obnoxious and are happy to lie and undermine your consumer rights. Even after I complained I to Curry’s and the regional manager nothing was done about my complaint. This resulted in a robust and swift legal response from me. Ladies and gentlemen… take your business to any other store. Do not buy a single item from the Folkestone store unless you want to be treated with total and utter contempt should your item stop working. As for curry’s core values of putting customers first… apparently not at the Folkestone store. It’s overflowing with low level, dull, ignorant, rude, badly educated staff. I will not purchase anything else from this store. In fact, after my experience of Curry’s Folkestone. I’d suggest all customers give serious consideration to purchasing their goods from a more reputable establishment that are customer focused.

Buy from AO or another online outlet because Currys don’t care about customers who actually buy things rather come in for a nice chat with the slothful staff

So I bought an oven online.

Currys sent me an email that says “Click me”. This is August 2024 and I’ve just been reliably told by store staff with a smile – after 15 minutes of waiting in my car when I gave up and went into the store – that the queueing system hasn’t been used since 2022 (at the end of the pandemic). So over 2 years and they still send people for “the long wait”. For a laugh or just mind bending inefficiency? I fear the latter.

I was then told to queue at collection point. No staff for 15 minutes but 2 of them were serving 1 couple. Another having a nice chat with another couple.

After 30 minutes Steve finally turned up at collection. The queuing system still has me waiting on hold – first in the queue since I joined it when the world was still young

Avoid Currys, get a better deal somewhere else and sadly local purchases will die but with customer service like this it sadly deserves to

Went in with my daughter today for a new laptop she needed. The Customer Service we received from Tom was Fabulous. He knew the stock we needed to look at, great product knowledge. He was friendly professional and very helpful. (odd no prices on items – I’d have been lost without Toms assistance)
Paid slightly more than we’d set out to pay but understanding the difference in laptops and features made choice easier / again we couldn’t have achieved this without Tom and his product training.
Highly recommend calling into store for excellent shopping experience
