I get all my electrical items from this store so go there quite often and sad to say, the other reviews about the staff hanging around the store talking to each other about their personal lives, playing on their phones, ignoring customers and generally not being helpful at all is very true.

As a whole, customer service in this store is shocking. A n employee there called Kyra has been helpful when I’ve been in on a few occasions. But I usually do an online chat on the Currys website for help with any questions I have, then order online and do a click and collect to this store, I find that more helpful as the customer service is better online than in this store. If I want to demo a product like a laptop or tablet then I go into store and have a look.

This Currys store is an absolute disaster! The staff don’t even know what day of the week it is! Too busy gossiping about their personal lives to even help customers properly. Every time I ask for assistance, I’m told to wait, only to be left hanging with no help in sight. Stock management is so poor – items “out of stock” until I question it, then magically reappear from the depths of the back room. Completely incompetent and clueless staff moping about. Seriously DO NOT waste your time here.

Had to drive 20 miles as my local shop was out of the freezer I wanted so I zoomed over to Sittingbourne store, walked in a polite friendly staff member said hello and did I need help.
I wandered to the rear of the store found the mini freezer I wanted and the young lady came over with a trolley and within minutes I was all paid up putting it into the back of the car.
Easy, fast transaction with a super friendly young lady. Very glad my local store had run out.
