I was looking to buy a new printer for my home office. The assistant took me to the printer section in the store. I told him my requirements. He basically had no answers for the questions I had. I ended up having to choose a printer on my own assumptions based on my previous experience. Currys PC World really needs to step up training their staff on products and information, as for the monitors I wanted. I ended up going home, ordering online, and collecting in store!
Visited with my mother to buy a new gas cooker. The salesman, although very nice, didn’t know anything. My mother wanted a twin oven and the salesman sold us one. My mother had to wait for a week to be delivered. It finally arrived, fitted in and it looked great. A few days later my mum went to use the twin ovens and it turns out to be just a grill. At 84 she is unwilling to complain and so she is stuck with it.
Got hounded by a older women yesterday when we bought a new TV she was asking my husband “are you sure?” 3 to 4 times after he told her no talking to him like if he was a child I had to walk off.
Took our money after trying to make us go for more expensive telly and broadband. Didn’t even say goodbye after we bought the telly she was straight onto the new people like a shark. I wouldn’t go back.
