The store itself was OK, and the staff were friendly and helpful, but once you have a problem with an item it is a painful experience with the phone staff from beginning to end.

I sent off a faulty monitor, they couldn’t fix it, so sent back, on the wrong day (thus a wasted day off) and arrived back to me smashed.

Phone line offered to get it repaired (as I paid good money for a shop smashed monitor) or a refund that wouldn’t cover the value of the item to repurchase.

On one occasion on the phone I was transferred to an individual who had clearly been sleeping and had no knowledge of the existence of monitors.

The phone staff are condescending, rely too heavily on scripts, and seem to be maliciously incompetent with the aim to get customers to just give up and accept whatever inadequate scraps they are thrown, under the condescending guise of “goodwill”.

Wayne the delivery driver who dropped off our goods was incredibly rude. After being asked to take his shoes off to go to the toilet, he did not and then had walked black stuff all up the stairs and landing which has now stained. He also cannot aim and directly wee in the toilet, so I had to clean the toilet and floor after a middle aged man. He also missed parts off from our original delivery meaning we had to wait for him to come back at a later time to redeliver after chasing him no end for our missing parts. Curry’s was no issue however this delivery driver is a reflection on the company. The one star is plainly for his colleague being helpful.

Terrible customer service! Despite the store being empty and 10+ staff milling around doing nothing other than playing on their phones, not one of them approached me (or even acknowledged me) in the time I spent wandering around the laptops.
Then when I finally went to one of them to ask for assistance I was told that what was out was what they had so I could look at them myself. I then asked a few tech questions and was informed that the person serving me didn’t know…..but there was no offer to find someone who could answer the questions.
In the end I gave up and walked out – clearly didn’t need my commission so I’ll buy elsewhere.
