I was sold a broke dongle. Have just been back in there just to get an exchange. There’s plenty of staff but all we’re walking around gormless, seemingly not wanting to help. A lady about 30-35yrs old, heavy makeup, long blonde hair asked if I was being seen to..I said no, and she made her way around the counter. I told her the problem and she asked my name and if I had a receipt, I told her i had no reciept so she looked up the transaction, printed something off & got on the phone. She was very quiet with talking, wasn’t telling me what she was doing or if it was getting sorted, and when I whispered to her after approx 10mins telling her I’d just like an exchange she was VERY rude in her reply and voice saying “I’m sorting it aren’t I, im tryin to talk” Obviously she was doing something but I wasn’t informed what was going on etc..TOTALLY DISSATISFIED! Anyways I’ve now been given a new dongle.

I read somewhere that Currys accept small electrical goods for recycling. As it was more accessible than the council recycling centre, I took along a few items (kettle, coffee filter etc) that had been gathering dust in my garage. Staff were very helpful and friendly, took all of my items and asked me to wait. Was this the catch? Absolutely not, a few seconds later I was given a “Cash for Trash” card entitling me to PS5 off my next purchase. I’ll go again, much better than the recycling centre “It doesn’t go there!” shouts. And yes, it worked, I’ll probably go there to buy something in the future…..

We ordered a washing machine, paid extra for early delivery. Took the day off work and it didn’t get delivered. The customer services on the phone very rude, and didn’t apologise. I now have to waste more time going back to the store….what’s the point in customer service? They said the item had been cancelled, but didnt think to let us know and hasn’t given a reason. Very disappointed.
