I bought goods with the value of thousands of pounds in the past from currys. The main thing that always brought me back was excellent customer service. This time I bought for PS750 an all in one HP PC and in 24 hours of usages and in front of my wife and 9 old child the screen went glitchy. I took it back 5 days post purchase as was working during the week. I was told it was physical damage to the LCD screen, though no dent or scratch. I was also told because I have not reported it within the first 24 hours of purchase they can’t assume it happened during transit. I was politely told ignored and put in the category of dodgy customers who damage things and lie about. Literally the PC was used for hours. I will find an official way to complain. They shouldn’t be allowed to do that.

This is a well laid out and well managed store. The purple shirted staff are plentiful and circle around you like wary sharks, wanting your business but not wanting to scare you away either. The balance is about right, though and everything seemed to be in its place and well looked after.
There is a good range of stock to choose from and competitive pricing too, despite them having no real competition of any size on the high street.
