What an amazing team at Penzance Currys!
I visited today to purchase the cheapest possible tumble dryer. The man who served me treated me as if I was buying the most expensive model: really helpful, explained everything really clearly, told me I could bring back my broken model for free recycling (which I did not know previously) and put the new dryer into the car with the assistance of a colleague even though I was fully expecting to do that myself. I left feeling incredibly well treated!
I decided to recycle my broken dryer for free later the same day and the colleague who had assisted with putting my new dryer in the car remembered me and realised why I was there within seconds of my entering the store. He immediately asked another colleague to get the old dryer out of my car and take it for recycling which completely surpassed my expectations: I had fully expected to move the old dryer myself.
Just a wonderful experience from start to finish and we are so lucky to have such a great store and team in Penzance. Thank you!

I went in to buy a TV on Friday, however due to a mix up in the shop, it meant that I wouldn’t be able to help my mum when it arrived for collection at the store. Absolutely the upmost respect for the team of Mark and Tim from Curry’s at Long Rock who took the situation in their stride and immediately offered to remedy it in their own time, and as it was, Mark came out to personally deliver the TV to her house and assist in setting it up. Thank you Mark for going way above and beyond the call of duty, offering complete peace of mind to me and more importantly, to my mother.
My recommendation is you ask for Mark or Tim when you’re in Curry’s at Long Rock!
When we arrived we were browsing the phone section for about 10 15 minutes. No one approached us so I went to the desk to ask for somehelp. We were told the guy on phones was on his lunch break (230pm) and would be 20 minutes. We waited the 20 minutes and eventually met the guy. We had both found deals through carphone warehouse online, and came to see if there were any better deals in store. The prices were extortionate and even the worker said that he couldn’t believe how high they were. Looking at PS64 a month for Google pixel 8, and I’ve got it online for PS32 with free Pro headphones. Not impressed to be honest
