Took elderly parents who can’t drive to return a faulty vacuum cleaner to be told it was out of time on the receipt ( it was 5 weeks after purchase) the receipt is 28 days, staff whilst not rude were dismissive of the issue saying it had to be taken up with the manufacturers and that was that! Gone are the days of going the extra mile! It was clear that they both had mobility issues, and whilst striving to keep some independence, they would have struggled to get to the store unaided. But the solution offered was that they come back on Monday for a member of the team to call the manufacturers on their behalf. We left extremely disappointed and called the manufacturer ourselves. Needless to say, we won’t be going back to Currys in the future and will stick to buying from the manufacturers directly as that is where they refer you anyway!

Staff are completely useless. Everyone walks around like headless chickens. When you ask for help you get diverted from one person to another. The manager couldn’t compare a price for a printer and his excuse was that it’s a business deal when it wasn’t and I rang currys online to confirm. They said he should have known better and sorted it out online instead.

The manager then started being aggressive, racism comes to mind but reading other reviews it looks like generally they are miserable and always in a bad mood.

If your going to get a price compared be sure to not take their word because they just look at the brief details and don’t really want to compare.
