Really feel let down and frustrated by the whole situation at the moment! I purchaced a Beko 8kg Condenser Tumble Dryer from currys in March 2022 and on Wednesday 14th August my wife called me to say that the plug had caught fire, I never knew that was possible tbh I thought there are safety features built in to stop stuff like that happening it’s just lucky that it hadn’t happend in the night when everyone was in bed, I called customer service with currys on the Thursday morning to say what had happend and the agent on the phone said take it in to llanelli store and they will take it and exchange it for you and send it back to the manufacturer to find out what happend, wich to be fair I thought was amazing fair play to currys so I carried it out to the car and drove it down to the store to be told they don’t take them in and exchange them I have to call beko for them to inspect it first and see what they say, I phoned beko and they want me to take the tumble dryer back in the house put it back where it was for the engineer to come and inspect it in a weeks time witch makes no sence to me I’m not taking it back in my house as the smell of burnt electrics isnt plesent and i have small kids evan if they can fix it I am buying a different tumble dryer cos I have lost all confidence in beko I just wanted them to inspect it incase they need to do a product recall because it’s dangerous if somthing can just catch fire like that I have had my electrics tested by a electrician and he replaced the socket that was damaged in the fire but found no faults with my electrics just frustrated by the whole situation why the customer service would tell me to take it in to the store for them to turn me away makes no sense evan if they just took the tumble dryer away and sent it back without a exchange I would have been happy that the they were taking the whole thing seriously and actually cared that they might be selling somthing that’s dangerous evan if its 2 years old it should never catch fire and the customer services shouldn’t be telling people to bring items into the store if the store dosnt accept them I suggest you look into retraining your customer services so your all on the same page and your regular customers arnt made to feel the way I do now!

New washing machine delivered in its time slot. Delivery guys unpacked and placed it in the utility room for me to complete the installation later.
On removing the 4 transit bolts I noticed the washer was unstable, on checking, found only 3 of the 4 adjustable feet installed, no 4th foot was found. Currys and I was both let down by poor quality control from Hover.

One of the best branches of Currys. Very wide varieties and stock is always available to deliver. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. My assigned staff was awesome , (my nhs discount card was not accepting for a 5% offer, but staff gave a 5% off without any card ). Service was quick .A big applause for staff aswell. Well maintained showroom with all covid protocols.
