I just wanted to provide some lovely feedback to Bennjamin from the Coventry branch who served me on Saturday the 6th of April.

The store was very busy at the time with many customers and it was also close to closing but it seemed like only Benn was still working and all the other staff members were walking around either on their phones or not serving. Benn had a queue at his till of around 4 customers so he asked a colleague to serve me whilst he rung up another customer, which was nice as he didn’t leave me waiting. Unfortunately the colleague he asked to help me asked what I wanted to purchase so I told him, he then proceeded to tell me to stand next to it and someone will be over to help me. He did not return and nor did anyone else come to serve me for nearly 10 minutes.

I was in the store with my nan and sister who were looking to buy a laptop at the same time and they were in another aisle. Benn was helping them at the time as his queue had gone so I went back to him and told him that his colleague didn’t help me and as he was with my family so would he serve me too. He was very apologetic and jumped at the chance to help me.

He was very nice, friendly and helpful too as I wanted a case too and I didn’t know what colours the tablet came in either. I managed to walk away with a colour I preferred and a deal where I got a free case. He never rushed us because it was close to closing either and provided me with all the insurance options so I could make an informed choice. I’m disappointed that everyone working there wasn’t like Benn though as I was close to walking out and buying elsewhere and you wouldn’t have had a PS389 tablet sale from me nor the PS600+ laptop we bought for my sister. So 1 star for everyone else 5 stars for Benn!

I left very happy with his service and wish more staff were like him that day!

An all round dreadful experience.
Went there last Sunday and bought a tv from a lovely knowledgeable Samsung guy. Booked delivery for the following Tuesday 7-11am. Tv didn’t arrive; phoned them and was bluntly told they had phoned us twice and no response so the order was cancelled and to go back to the store for a refund ! We’d taken the morning off work for this and no one had called us , which we could prove. Went across town to the store again and spoke to a young girl who was lovely than a more senior lady who was indifferent at best. My wife walked to the tv department to see if that nice guy was there ; he wasn’t but lo and behold our tv was still there all boxed up. It hadn’t even been picked up from the store ! So someone was lying to us anyway. We had to cancel the order, re purchase it and rearrange delivery for the following Saturday 1-5pm. We waited till Saturday and the delivery guys called at 10.30 to say they would be there within the hour but we were at work till 12.30 ! They said we had to take it then or it would go back to the warehouse, we were so upset by that point. It finally arrived just before 1pm and they proceeded to try and install. These guys weren’t friendly or very knowledgeable and ten minutes into the install, they said they couldn’t install it as there were some bolts missing. At that point we had had enough and told them to take it away. After we’d cleaned up their mess ( little bits of polystyrene everywhere ) we yet again went back to the store for a refund. The manager Raj was very professional and we got our refund. The whole experience was awful and we won’t ever go to Curry’s again.

I recently had a very disappointing experience at Currys that compelled me to write this review. The store manager was incredibly unprofessional, and the crew lacked basic product knowledge. When I asked for assistance, the staff at the counter seemed uninterested and gave vague answers that didn’t help at all.

To make matters worse, the customer service was exceptionally rude. Instead of addressing my concerns politely, the manager was dismissive and condescending. It’s clear that the staff here either lack proper training or simply do not care about their customers.

This experience has left me extremely frustrated and unlikely to shop at Currys again. If you’re looking for helpful, knowledgeable staff and good customer service, I recommend taking your business elsewhere.
