Has lots of electronics to have a look around before you buy. I drove so long to try few things here but didn’t have a good experience. I went to click and collect counter and they asked for order number and other details to pick up. There was no signal inside store nor they have WiFi so I need to walk out of store twice to get the order details from my email.

I wanted to try Meta Quest and Rayban meta glasses. Both were not in working condition and I asked for assistance and I have been waiting at the stand for 15 mins and none turned up. I called out again and someone arrived and said they have no knowledge on these things. I need to return without trying for the items what I wanted to. Because of which I dropped the plan of purchase.

Not a good experience for me here though.

So incompetent in this branch. Spent 2 hours trying to order a coffee machine in branch being served by someone that had no idea what he was doing. Manager had to step in to take over. Finally managed to put order through after so many mistakes and told I could collect coffee machine on Monday. Arrived on Monday and asked staff member for it. Left hanging on the shop floor for 15 mins only to be told by the sales assistant that they won’t get it until next Monday now due to fault in the delivery. Staff member was completely unapologetic and dismissive of me. No sorry , just walked off.

Staff are helpful, but Currys as an organisation is awful. I don’t know who is running their logistics and stock but they need to be fired. Tried to buy a laptop from them that was on display, to be told it was available in another store 40 miles away, and that they don’t do store-to-store delivery, nor home delivery. Went to Argos, got the same laptop next day delivery. Currys will soon go out of business if they keep this kinda of thing up.
