I had hoped that Currys would assist me with resealing the packaging and accepting the return as part of their customer service. Unfortunately, when I approached the Manager and staff for help, they were unwilling to listen to my concerns and adamant about not assisting me.
Left with no other option, I had to tape the packaging back together myself. However, upon returning to the store, I had the fortune of encountering Manager Tim, who went above and beyond to assist me. He not only helped me process the return but also took the time to measure the widths and find a suitable replacement microwave for me.
While Manager Tim’s assistance was greatly appreciated, I was disappointed by the response I received from Dax. It is my belief that Managers should strive to be more courteous and helpful to customers, especially when faced with issues like mine. Overall, my experience at Watford Currys was disappointing, but thanks to Manager Tim’s exceptional service, I was able to find a satisfactory resolution.
I wanted a larger screen laptop so I called the customer care line to enquire if I can add money and exchange this with a larger screen laptop. The lady answered in affirmative that’s it is possible.
I went back to the store the next saturday but was told this is not possible as I have opened the laptop from the packaging.she even said it would have been possible if I bought online. So I am being punished for buying from the store? This is contrary to what another lady over the phone told me.
I was disappointed this is coming from a big brand like currys (why I decided to shop here in the first place was for in case of event like this).
What’s different between currys and any other roadside shop if they can’t offer a simple return policy to customer that’s not happy with a purchaser and why is there conflicting information about if I can exchange the laptop or not.
I am really disappointed with this purchase and regret shopping from currys
