Two poor experiences with staff in Currys, the first I arrived 15 mins before closing (didn’t know they closed at 7pm, thought it was 8pm) so staff were keen to get me away so they could close up (don’t really blame them but there’s better ways of handling that) left without buying due to attitude of staff. Second time the staff member was a bit pushy then proceeded to cough all over me. Basic good manners and a bit of customer service training might be in order here. Only reason I gave 2 stars is because the second time I was able to make a purchase.
Just bought a new TV. Excellent service and advice from salesman Ian. Very knowledgeable and explained everything that was required for our needs. Very friendly and appreciated too. I would totally recommend Currys, as I have been using them since they opened at Irvine many years ago.
Excellent customer service from Emma and Yung who went out their way on their day off to help 93 year old mum with new tv. Can’t thank them enough. Our experience shopping in Irvine comes highly recommended, rare these days.
