Just bought a replacement worktop fridge on Amazon after trying 3 times to see what the Hardwick Retail Park Currys could offer.
First time no such thing in stock.
Second time: tabletop fridge available but shop about to close.
Third time: tabletop fridge available but not on display, one member of staff upstairs where the kitchen goods are, 5 or more customers waiting, music on full blast so you had to shout to ask for service, 4-5 staff downstairs doing nothing.
I left and switched off the music on the way out to make a point. They must think it’s a nightclub, lol.
Why would you bother going to a store if they don’t have stock in store (the reason for using the word “store” is that they DO have stock in store), on display or staff to show it to you?
Why would you want to compete with the music system to ask for non existent service?
Why should I stagger up the stairs when the staff can’t be bothered to even though they’re half my age and should be twice as fit?
Just order it on Amazon and the delivery driver will probably be efficient, punctual and friendly. You won’t have to leave your living room, shout to be heard above the music, be ignored by the staff and all but insulted on your way out with a sarcastic goodbye. Curry’s don’t deserve the business. Their staff don’t deserve the jobs.

Worst customer service I’ve ever had!! I went into the Hardwick kingslynn store to purchase a phone case for my new phone , i went over to the phone section and couldn’t find what I was looking for so asked a large gentleman (didn’t get his name it’s the only way to describe him and not intended as being rude) I asked if he could advise me on which case I needed I was told we don’t do it very abruptly! I then asked could you tell me what size I would need to order online he said very abruptly again I don’t know, the whole time I was speaking to him he didnt look at me because he was playing on a phone on the display, also the music was so loud I walked out never will I return to this store again.
The service at Carphone warehouse is terrible. Very Lengthy wait times and untrained staff.
Buying a laptop is also frustrating. The spec has been moved from cards on the display table to the actual machine, half of which were not on, leaving me to try and extract the info from a well meaning but totally untrained lad. I lost the will to live and regretted not buying online.
