Visiting Curry’s Treliske in Truro to return a defective vacuum turned into a frustrating ordeal. This review aims to convey the challenges we faced due to the staff’s lack of assistance and the store’s inefficient policies.

The staff were not only unhelpful but also showed a lack of training in handling return processes. Their repeated offering of a refund, which would not cover the cost of a comparable replacement due to price increases, was not an acceptable solution.

The process was far from efficient, taking up two hours of our time without resolving the issue. The staff members were inconsistent in their communication about stock availability and not forthcoming with information that could have helped us.
3. Communication: 1/5
Poor communication was evident in their handling of our online order and in their inability to provide clear information about stock availability. The mistake in entering our email incorrectly initially also complicated our efforts to make a return.
4. Product Availability: 1/5
There was no effort made to check other locations for stock or to reserve a vacuum once it was back in stock, leaving us to monitor the website ourselves.

I’m 30 years old and I’ve been a loyal customer of curries for 10 years. Purchasing all sorts of goods from washing machine. Tumble dryer fridge freezer two TVs two Xboxes two tablets and having two different phone contracts

But I will never buy from Curry’s again

Went there to get a phone contract done up. Received a parking fine through their car park. Called up Curry’s customer service. They told me to go into Curry’s and they would deal with it. A manager that looked like just come out of high school

Had a nasty attitude was extremely unhelpful and failed to realise that the company he works for had made an error to one of his customers and he was now in the position to make things right. Disgraceful manager.

He wasn’t understanding he wasn’t sympathetic. he wasn’t apologetic

He had a nasty attitude problem

He is a disgrace to curries he was not interested in listening to us. He was more interested in chatting with his work colleagues

Unfortunately my current iPhone broke due to water damage which resulted in me urgently having to purchase a brand new phone the same day that I discovered my current phone would not work. Not only did the employee who I consulted not allow me to fully look at the colour of the phone I was prepared to pay PS600 for but also when I asked if the phone came with a cable he responded no (despite it containing a cable which I discovered when I got home). As well as this, the employee told me that my new iPhone 14 required a US-BC cable despite it being lightening. So obviously I was convinced to purchase this cable despite it being entirely unnecessary. I am furious to say the least as I do not live close to a curry’s and so I cannot easily claim my refund.
