One thing Curry’s seem to get right is their staffing – the knowledge of the people serving is exceptional, they really care and are passionate about what they are talking about.
We met John, after I had got a Nintendo switch for Xmas and needed a few things to go with it. He spoke at length about the pros and cons of everything, telling us all about what we’d need without making it a pushy sale. He was just genuinely excited we’d got a switch and were about to venture into his world.
The same happened in another store with a colleague about a laptop.
When so many places hire staff that don’t really care, they are just there for a job, it’s something Curry’s seems to get right. I hope they long continue it. It builds trust with the customer and means I’d be more than happy to go back with a query and ask for help.

I came in to purchase a fridge freezer for my parents & ended up being served by a lovely young guy. I think he was just about to end his shift, but he didn’t rush us & made sure we understood what we were buying & what was best for us.
The shop is well stocked for every budget. I would’ve given 5 stars had it not been for us having to find a staff member. If they’d all been busy with customers, then that would be fair enough, but they weren’t & some were standing about. The young guy who served us could see we needed help & assisted us immediately. He’s a total credit to this shop & some others could take a leaf out of his book.
The whole process of paying & booking a time slot was very quick & easy. We were out of the shop quickly, having paid for our order.

Had great customer service from John (with the beard), he went over and above to give me advice and all the information I needed to choose the right laptop for me. He is clearly very knowledgeable about this area and talked me through some other items I might need and explained why I might need them in a way I understood and answered all my questions. Had a lovely experience and am now waiting for my new laptop!
