Checking stock levels online is a joke. Not accurate and it’s a lottery to visit a store these days to see what stock is on store. You’re staff are great, not pushy and usually well informed, but the Currys policy of hard sell on insurance still hasn’t changed. Yes they say they can have it repaired or replaced with a fast turnaround but I did the same with an Amazon laptop (complete return and refund within 7 days just on my standard product warranty). The insurance I was quoted by you was nearly a 3rd of the laptops value, I politely declined. Could you imagine using the same ratio for house insurance!

Currys, as a customer who has purchased a laptop with you recently, please consider sorting your backend IT ordering system out, it’s woeful and if others do it well, why can’t you?

Finally, back off with the pushy insurance, when a customer says no, don’t make it your mantra to continue. It’s not for everyone.

Horrendous. Previously 3 stars but dropped to one.

Horribly mismanaged store with horribly untrained employees, some of which I’m sure are stoned.

Goods are mislabelled, but you only find out after waiting for 30 minutes, because most of the staff are hopelessly clueless.

Witnessed staff overselling to an elderly couple, asking ridiculous questions and arranging unnecessary services.

Do yourself a favour, skip this place. Go to Derby, or even better – amazon for shopping. For computer repairs and advice – google local experts. This store is absolutely horrible.

Appalling service, waited around for ages to be served. Granted there were not many staff but neither were there any customers in store. I waved my arms in the air and asked for help from The chap that became available. He completely looked straight through me and ignored me, preferring to go to the aid of a delivery driver that had just walked in the store! I was fuming and left and challenged him outside….he told me to ‘Have A Nice Day’ and walked off! Yes, sadly, I did swear at him! I will never set foot in this store again
