I bought 1 month ago an Hp printer with 9month free ink. When asked from Currys. I explained that I need a code to get this 9month free ink service. I told them Hp already reverted me to speak to Curry’s. There manager told me we cannot help you we only sell Hp product. I explained many times that Hp already told me that Curry’s will help you. However they refuse to help and walked away even I was one of the very few customer in the shop. I am extremely disappointed and shocked with staff behaviour where they decide to act based on there own personal choice rather look up to the corporate responsibility and in the interest of the company. Though I found in some other Curry’s shop much better experience. I could have the same deal from Argos but give preference to Curry’s for its big name. However, staff behaviour matters a lot. DO NOT recommend to buy from this particular store. Even though I had full insurance where they say whatever happens. This Curry’s shop staff simply violated there own policy.

Some of the staff are useless, unhelpful, and incompetent.
Where has the customer service gone that you use receive? You purchase an item online, receive a pickup date, arrive in the shop, but the staff member who supposed to help you turns out to be useless. He did not look on the correct system to check for my order. After numerous calls, I go back to the shop the next day, I’m served by yet another useless member of staff and, the “manager” who was stood with us was also useless and very unprofessional with the way she spoke with the useless member of staff who was looking for my order. Whilst this is not the normal service at this shop, I wonder what training is given these days. I previously have had good experience with the staff, the waiting time can be long but, the outcome has genuinely been ok. Not on my recent visit though.

Incompetent staff directed by a website, the store assistants have no capability of self guided thinking or any product knowledge.

Good example on 13/4/24:
Two LG Tv’s identical but one has the silly little legs and the other has the crescent stand.
Massive difference in Curry’s being excessively over priced compared to Argos.
Employee willing to price match the leg version and discount by PS197.99 (like I said OVERPRICED)
Could the employee price match the difference for the crescent stand version at PS79.99 – No he couldn’t….why,
The Argos version said black/grey
The Curry’s website said grey/black
Therefore its a different model in his head, albeit the LG code, reference and model number are identical.

Stay away, not the first time I’ve experienced this level of stupidity at several of the brands stores.
