Took a day off work for the installation but nobody turned up. Rescheduled thus had to take another day off work. The fridge was slightly damaged – dent on one of the doors
Tried to contact Currys online and via phone but was told since it was not an online order, it could only be dealt with at the store it was purchased
Went to the store (which is 30 minutes drive away) and was offered a 15 percent discount on the finance plan which I agreed.
When it was time to make the first payment, I noticed that the discount had not been applied. Contacted Currys and was told again since this is not an online order, it would have to be dealt with in store. So had to make the 30 minute drive there again and waited a whole hour for the manager who assured me it will be sorted.
A month later and this discount was still not showing on the finance plan so I had to go to the store again. Waited around for ages again before speaking to someone who again promised me it will be added shortly.
6 months after the initial promise and still this discount had not been applied so had to go for the third time. The manager didn’t even bother speaking to us and was hiding away as she had an employee going back and forth trying to resolve. Eventually, they gave a refund on card (why couldn’t they do this in the first place?).
Zero compensation for the hours wasted and inconvenience. Manager didn’t even have the decency to come out and apologise she put her employee in the firing line who wasn’t even responsible
