Went in to buy a laptop, knew what I wanted so would have taken a couple of minutes, was ignored by multiple staff members, one woman came over after 20 minutes of me standing there trying to get the attention of staff and being ignored, to say they were busy (3 customers in and she was doing nothing) waited another 10 minutes and then left. Told her I was busy and couldn’t hang around any more and she shouted that they were busy and it wasnt her fault (while she was just sorting stuff out behind the counter) won’t be shopping there again, rude, and unprofessional staff leaving customers waiting for ridiculously long periods of time.
My laptop stopped working, and I needed a repair. When I called their support, they instructed me to visit the nearest Currys location. I spent half an hour getting to the shop, only to find that their engineer wasn’t there. I had to return the next day, and when I finally saw the engineer, he didn’t perform any repairs but simply sent it to their main office. This raised the question: why did they require the engineer’s presence in the first place if the laptop was ultimately sent to London for service? Despite this situation, the shop was generally good, and the staff were friendly.
Its ok, same as always. I did manage to get a great clearance deal and had a very friendly and helpful staff member help me which was good. They did all they could to help me with my product questions and rang other branches for stock too.
