Went into store with the potential to get a new Mac with my partner. Asked for advice and compared 2 laptops on the app online.. the customer advisor spent around 10 minutes comparing without saying a word to us before e8nf prompted by myself asked for an update and her saying that she thinks it’s just different colour only.
We then asked about pricing online and how the different sizes (smaller more expensive) have different prices etc. We weretold they are the same price multiple times but I kept questioning this and until I had to physically show them this was not the case to prove my point.. and was then told “oh yeah looks like that’s just a deal atm” .. I asked if there is anything they could do or any further advice they could give, got told no sorry and left us to go talk to their colleagues in the corner.
During the course of the shop visit there was minimal interaction, advisor had a flat tone, was very unhelpful. Overall terrible customer service and felt we knew more about processors and RAM and the laptops in general than the customer advisor.
Useless.

I always have the best experience when I visit the Aberystwyth Currys! The staff are always so helpful and so friendly! Their knowledge of the products is always on point, and if I’m unsure on an item, or between brands etc they always offer the best advice and I’ve never been disappointed with a purchase!
Also, when it comes to phone upgrades the support they give with helping me swap over is above and beyond!
I no longer live in Aberystwyth, but still use Currys Aberystwyth as my main store, and will wait until I visit family to go and buy the things I want!
I’ve bought everything from my TVs, various, Ninja products, hoovers, fridge/freezer, washing machine, and phones over the years, and never had a stressful experience!

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. I went in to choose a hoover & a cooker with my father a while ago, not knowing which model was more suitable for my elderly father.
My father didn’t really know what he wanted, Jodie came over with a warm smile and ask if she could help.
She was extremely helpful and patient with us. She explained all the different features with different models and brands, which helped us picked the ones that is more suitable for us. I was very surprised that she knew all the features from all these different brands.
Also my household broadband was due to end. She helped me find the best possible deal at the cheapest price for a switch, which will saves me a lot of money for the next 2 years.
Excellent customer service. Will definitely return for future purchase.
