I came to Curry’s for a birthday present and I knew exactly what I wanted. Outside of the store and entrance was clean and litter free. As I walked into the establishment, unfortunately, I wasn’t greeted, and again, leaving the store, no one said goodbye apart from the nice lady who served me at the tills. Very important to have a member of staff to greet a customer so they can answer any questions straight away and point the customer in the right direction. Hence, I was left wandering around the store, trying to find what I came for. Good signage as if it wasn’t for that I would never found the headphones. I picked up a card and brought it to the till. The lady asked another member of staff to fetch the item, not before checking if they have it in stock. The staff member came back quickly with my item. The lady was pleasant and kept calling me sir and even started a pleasant conversation before saying our goodbyes, thanking me and wishing me a good evening. All in all, it was a pleasant experience thanks to the older lady behind the till, but other staff could be more helpful when customers come into a store or ask if I needed help.
Second time i visit that store in 10 months. I received the same frosty reception as before.

No one approached me until i asked for assistance.
When i went upstairs, there was so much going on and yet again, i was ignored. I know that some of the sales staff was busy moving stuff around, still, i needed to let them know that i wanted a specific item that i have already decided by myself.
I left the store disappointed, went to another place to buy the item i needed.

I think staff should be taking another course of customer service !
The staff were despondent to say the least. When I asked for help, 2 of 5 staff members responded to my requests for assistance, the others simply ignored me, as if they had not even heard me. Very disappointing. Then when asking if they had the three items I was enquiring after in stock, only one was in stock. I left and made my purchase elsewhere.
Not the service I have recieved from curry’s in the past, very very far from it!
