I love the store, bought many products there from
TV’s to drones, over mine and my families life.

Usually lovely professional and attentive staff.

Well on Friday; I sadly unfortunately met a man, neck and hands tattooed, in Bangor Lidl; who was shopping with his girlfriend or wife and wearing a Curry’s T-shirt.

After putting my items on the conveyor he immediately said “have you been sniffing cocaine” and “who do you think you are” in a thick northern accent.

He walked up and took my shopping from the back of the conveyor belt, threw my shopping into a basket below, while also insulting my boyfriend and I in a homophobic manner, stating we must have only just met; then after the insult of cocaine sniffing; which sadly, I’m not inclined to do, then called me bald, which I can hardly do much about!

He then continued into a mostly unintelligible tirade saying he just finished his shift at 7PM and was the Bangor store’s best salesman, and they would “never consider firing him!”

A complete nut case!

If he had asked nicely, I would of course tried to assist or even move to another till; as he did have a lot of shopping.

I’m waiting for the manager to deal with this issue but, frankly this man was more “Falling Down” than tech support.

As a business owner myself, to have a man like this wear a Curry’s T shirt shouting abuse in a busy supermarket, with many onlookers; he should of course, be fired immediately.

It’s not the brightest thing to do, abuse people verbally in public while wearing a blue Curry’s T-Shirt.

An absolutely repulsive and vile individual; very disappointed and completely shocked to see a major and trusted high street brand would even consider employing such a person, with absolutely no social skills and an explosive psychotic anger management problem.

Sadly his wife or girlfriend was just as awful during the situation.

I hope he gets help.

I bought a logik dishwasher at the beginning of December last year and have had nothing but problems with it. It’s marking all my glasses with a gritty residue and the things are not always dry when the cycle has finished these things happen on every cycle, it also makes strange noises, this dishwasher is not fit for purpose all I want is for Curry’s to take it away and refund my money or give me a credit note so that I can buy a better brand ( Bosch or Hoover) however Curry’s are not interested and keep telling me to contact the manufacturer, who either tell me its user error ( I’ve had dishwashers for the last 30 years so I know what I’m doing) or they don’t bother turning up, I’ve waited in all day today and no one has been

Shambolic. Every time I try to shop here there’s an issue with delivery. Apparently if there’s a big box with 50 items, for example, and 1 customer cancels their item the the 49 other items are sent to the Currys sorting wharehouse!! I made in store order for phone, 4 days later I had to cancel the order because the item was ‘missing’ in delivery. Note to self: never ever again waste my time trying to shop here. Go to Argos or anywhere else
