If you’ve got any store credit best use it before they call the receivers in. This shop is going down fast. Went in to the Edinburgh Craigleith store looking for Carphone Warehouse. They’ve rebranded it to just another section of the store. Staff all ignoring the customers, chatting to themselves. Waited 15 minutes, during which time I saw an old couple looking to buy a new TV give up and leave the store saying “it’s probably cheaper on Amazon anyway”. No-one cared. Thought it might be a bad store, went to Currys Dunfermline. Same thing. 4 staff ignoring all the customers. Ones going on holiday to Rome next week and was telling her colleagues her day-by-day itinery. Hope she has still got a job when she gets back. They did stop chatting when the DHL man arrived, to look in the box he delivered, then back to studiously ignoring all the customers. If Currys is still trading by August 2025 I’ll be flabbergasted. Take the old guys advice and buy elsewhere.

Looking to replace our washing machine as the old one had a drum issue,no shame to it after 13 years and never had to call a service engineer.
Had a look online to get some prices and decided to pop into Curry’s as their prices were same as on line.

Our old machine was a Samsung so was looking to get the same make. Assistant was very helpful and knowledgeable and the machine we picked Samsung came with 5 years parts and labour included.

Also had free installation and removal included,also the delivery people will uninstall the the old machine from under worktop.

Delivery charge was PS30 so all in all got a good deal.

Bought a laptop for my daughter from here. She opened the box, but didn’t like it- never even turned it on. I went to the shop for an exchange or store credit and they flat out refused- not even a credit. It was never even turned on. I would buy from Amazon or any other merchant before thinking of Curry’s. Look for Merchants who protect their customers, other than use them for profits. You have lost a long term customer! 0 stars
