I’ve just had the weirdest experience i’ve ever had in a shop when going to collect a microwave. Despite the member of staff having all my details plus the code that was sent to my email address I couldn’t complete collection as a new code was sent to my email address, which I don’t have on my phone. I found this fairly ridiculous and I’d be amazed if there wasn’t a workaround. The member of staff was acting very arrogant but changed his tone when I questioned his attitude.

I was ready to leave when another obnoxious/arrogant member of staff butted in and suggested that I wasn’t very clever for not having the email address on my phone, while he was finishing chewing on something. He continued to be lippy but i stopped listening. I’ll be calling tomorrow to speak with the store manager as I can’t actually believe the experience I just went through to make a collection.

It was like a sketch out of Chewing the Fat.

I’ll be cancelling the order and shopping elsewhere after I’ve lodged a complaint.

Visited this store a few years back to buy a tablet. I showed the female assistant which one. She then started into a script to sell me anti-virus software. I had to repeat 6 times I didn’t want it, I already had multi product cover. We then went to back of store to get tablet from secure area. Now she started to push and extended warranty, another 6 ‘no’s’ before the message got through. I only bought the tablet as it was only available thru Curry’s and the next nearest store was too far to travel.
Put me off Curry’s totally.

I wanted to buy a fridge, but no stock of the one I chose. I offered to buy the display one…no deal. Tried online other branches no stock . So I decided to order and collect from the store as it was for my church and access would be difficult. I was told that there would be a delivery charge when delivering to the store!!! A vehicle that was stocking the store and I was to pay delivery. On a point of principle I decided to order from another supplier a comparable fridge and FREE delivery.
