“Mo” your customer service was ZERO!

Possibly the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. We walked up to the desk and the assistant just stared at us. We were not greeted with a “hello” or “how can I help?” When we spoke and told him that we were here to collect our item, he simply walked away with without saying a word. He then returned with the item and told us we should have a code (which was the first time he spoke!) We looked at our emails and couldn’t find anything. When we stopped searching and told him that we couldn’t find it on our confirmation email, he then replied “I’ve only just sent it now”. Why didn’t he say that in the first place?! Such a lack of communication and courtesy. It is clear that Curry’s do NOT train their staff in any way with regards to customer service. We were not even furnished with the bare minimum of a simple ‘hello’ or “thank you”. On leaving I bluntly commended him on his fantastic professionalism and engagement – again he looked blankly at us but this time he wore a smirk on his face! Unbelievable! His name was ‘Mo’ we feel “Mo” needs to brought up to speed in common courtesy. Not at all good enough I’m afraid . We certainly will not be back and I intend to spread the word!

Wow. For someone who used to work at Currys. This store needs to go back to basics. I wanted to buy an oven. I think I know which one I wanted, but wanted to know the difference between two models. I walked around for 20 minutes without being approached by anyone. Everyone just looked miserable like they didn’t want to be there. 3 staff members upstairs sat around a computer chatting. 2 members of staff in the middle of the TV’s on the ground floor just standing there staring at the front of the store gormless. I made eye contact with one of them, no smile / response.
Overall I walked past at least 9 “advisors” and no one even said hello. Shocking.

We went to the shop and ordered a fridge freezer and it was delivered on time BUT the two men who delivered it were extremely rude. They were just going to dump it in the hall, but being OAP’s, that was not an option, so they were made to put it in the kitchen where we wanted it, they didn’t level it, so my partner had to do it Our old f/f was supposed to be picked up as well ( which had been paid for) but we were told that they were only delivery men and so it was left in the hall (it was an American style one). My partner complained the next day,, and very much to their credit, it was picked up the day after.
