Products: hit and miss, some good bargains but depends on the day, product and what imperfections you’ll put up with. Best to compare online while in the shop.
Staff: depends who you get, there’s a lot of staff and product knowledge could be better. An exceptional manager, Liz who was very helpful and knowledgeable. The overseas Support Line is the biggest failure for Currys, the staff don’t even know the basics, you get passed around, informal attitude, long waiting times. Best going back to the shop rather than phoning them. Avoid the help line if possible.
Delivery: can boost the price up by about PS70+ if you use delivery, recycle, Saturday delivery, installation service for ground floor residence. Good selection of delivery dates and they keep you posted. Friendly but basic delivery service.
Facilities: the store has a market feel to it, parking spaces usually available but both the store and car park could do with a tidy up. I didn’t notice toilets, and beware it’s on a busy junction of the inner ring road.

Great to find some bargains, but just depends what you buy. Wouldn’t buy a fridge from here, but smaller stuff which is clearly just a return is fine. Had many things over the years and most of stuff has been great. Don’t expect to find exactly what you want immediately, or expect a perfectly dressed store. Keep popping back in and ask staff when stuff is likely to arrive.
Good range of slight seconds white goods. We needed a washing machine as ours broke and we didn’t want to spend ridiculous amounts. There’s lots of choice and all items have a note on explaining what the damage is. Staff are friendly and helpful and they helped us load it into the boot of my car. Would definitely come here again.
