I loved how you get approached by workers as soon as you walk in and start looking at the items of interest.

Update: Apparently they act all nice when you enter their shop first and after you buy from them , their after service is nothing to write home about.
They speak English with you while making purchases and latter act like no one understands English when they charge you outrageously.

Buying from Darty is the worst experience I’ve ever had in Europe and specifically in Paris especially since I’m not a French speaker.

They sold us a TV. we maid payment and they came to fix it at home as agreed. About a month later they are charging our credit card a monthly fee that we don’t understand. Efforts to sort this out with them at the same place we bought the TV has proved futile and no one can explain anything.
How can we be paying over 200euro after making payments for a new TV that we didnt purchase on credit and we didn’t subscribe to any service?
What kind of cheating is that?
And their customer care is the worst as they have not given any clarification.

Went out to buy a top end tv. Checked out FNAC first but the member of staff working there was more interested in watching tv’s than selling them so we ended up in Darty. The lovely lady in the Darty TV section came over right away and really knew her stuff. Great experience no negatives. FNAC lost a 2k sale.
