Tried to buy a new iron this morning. Was heading towards the checkouts to pay when we were approached by a sales assistant (we assume!). She took the box from us and headed back into the middle of the store. No we said, we want to pay at the check outs. With determination she carried on going in the opposite direction. Then she got out her mobile phone and started pressing the buttons.. She asked our name – which we gave, She then proceeded to carry on tapping into her mobile phone.
Again we said No we want to pay at the check out and not using the shop assistant’s mobile phone – with all the inherent security issues of WIFI. We were firm in our request
Again she refused so we put the box back on the shelves and went down the road to Boulanger where we bought the same iron and had our order processed and payment taken via a cabled computer. Far more secure!
Sale lost Darty!!

I bought a Bosch refrigerator from them and it arrived with two deep scratches on the front door. Scheduled an appointment to have the door replaced and they never showed up. And you can see below from their response there is no offer to help.

Totally unprofessional. I should have gone to the Boulanger at the same exit.

I ordered click and collect because I wanted quick service and didn’t want to pay EUR39 delivery. I was seen by about 5 different members of staff, none of which got the TV I ordered. I waited half an hour. A muppet show.
