IPHONE 14, i took my phone here on the 15th july and was told it would take 1-2 days my brother called back 3 days later and they then told us the phone was ready to be picked up so we went to pick it up i payed PS100 for a new battery and the phone was still not working so i took it back a few minutes later after noticing, from then i’ve not had 1 phone call, i called a few days later asking on updates where they then said they lost my number what had been given to them 2-3 times at that point and i had watched them write it and put it on their desk, they told me again 1-2 days so i waited then realised on find my iphone that my phone was in manchester what hadn’t been said at all, my mum went down to ask about this (my brothers number was on a sticker on the back of the phone) and they said they sent it off and it would be ready on monday, monday came by and i didnt get a phone call again, so i called them yesterday asking about it and they told me i could pick it up and get a refund, today i have got the phone more broken than it already was, this phone shop is so unprofessional communication is AWFUL, everytime we had called them they seemed to keep saying hello and acting almost as if they couldn’t hear us this is definitely not on our behalf as i’ve called off 2 different phones and they’ve done it on both,, DO NOT SEND YOUR PHONES HERE!

I would avoid this shop at all costs. I originally took my phone in for a full LCD replacement. Which he did, eventually. He advised a one day turnaround which ended up being four days. When I eventually got the phone back a crack appeared along with a bleed on the corner of the screen. After seeking advice this is due to using poor quality screens. I advised of this and he claimed that I dropped it. I reluctantly paid again as I was in need of the phone repairing, my thought process being I can recoup the costs at a later date. He fitted a new screen, again and this one did the exact same thing. He replaced it for free this time (how nice of him) I would then discover a catalogue of damage to the phone itself. Speaker no longer works. No longer records audio. The fingerprint no longer works and the software for that has been deleted. It now runs at a dangerously high temp.

I have attempted to resolve the issues with him only to be met by a very unprofessional and rude man with no regard to the damage he has caused. Will be taking him to the small claims court and I have reported him to trading standards. This man should not be trading as he inept and incapable.

I have been more than reasonable with him and gave him ample opportunity to put this right all to no avail.

Excellent service! My phone had been almost destroyed by another local provider while trying to replace my screen. Darwen Mobiles managed to get it back together despite the missing screws and broken screen frame and it now works as well as it can, albeit with the fingerprint sensor not working (the other shop snapped the ribbon while removing the back) but all in all I wasn’t expecting to see this phone working again. Thanks Darwen Mobiles for the help, advice, and for the excellent service. I would recommend to all.
