Only had a visit, no purchase on the day, and I didn’t intend to purchase that day.
So I returned a few days later and bought an iFi Zen One Signature DAC. I am extremely happy with my purchase it’s very musical – has plenty of clarity and detail without sounding over bright or forced. It doesn’t impose any character on the sound but lets the signal through, it tends to allow the CD being played to be itself and sound different to other CDs – more so than I have previously experienced.
So very happy with it.
The shop looks like a little corner shop that happens to sell some stereo stuff and televisions, if you think that and pass them by you will do yourself a disservice, they stock quality equipment and know what they are about.

Very enjoyable afternoon out, recommended by a friend. Matt was a big help and very patient and knowledgeable, he auditioned various speakers partnered with the same turntable i own and an amp i was looking for, ended up buying Monitor Audio 200 SG7 speakers, an Arcam A15 Amp and a Arcam CD5 cd player, fantastic combination, i couldn’t be happier, this place really is a hidden gem and i would recommend to anyone, support your local businesses and they gave me a fantastic package deal, i will be going back.
I was recommended this store by an employee at HMV. The Service was 2nd to none. Product knowledge was also first class. I was looking for an amplifier and speakers and I was not disappointed. The whole experience from the first phone call to them helping me load my care up was fantastic. I was made to feel that me getting the right product for my needs was more important to them than money in the till.
