Had a stereo installed here a couple year ago, my battery kept dying so I looked into why. They installed a Line output converter and it wasn’t shutting off my amp.. I watched some videos to see what was going on, I determined that once I tore apart the panels to see where they hooked it up. They had the Converter hooked up to the wrong input wires for the speakers.
Because I have the Bose factory system in my truck (2019 GMC AT4) they needed to be hooked up to the front door speakers not the rear. I bought a new converter and re-wired it to the right wires, I also ran a fail safe wire to my fuse box for the remote so I knew it was turning on and off.
I called them to see if they could help with the issue prior and told me that it must of worked before and pretty much said GFY.
So now it sounds and works perfect and after buying a new $300 plus battery I wont be having issues again!
Oh and another thing all the extra wire was all bunched up and stuffed under the carpet behind the back seat, and there were butt splices in the wire that didn’t reach the amp, very unprofessional! I had gave them a whole wire kit and they must of screwed up a lot to have to do that. Absolute garbage.

one of the speakers in my work vehicle went out, which i drive for 6-7hrs a day so i listen to a lot of music. stopped at fx audio while i was in spruce grove and i believe it was dale i talked to. i didn’t want to spend too much as it is a work vehicle but also wanted to upgrade from the crappy stock speakers. he showed me some mid-range speakers that i settled on with some adapters to fit the stock speaker housings. he also gave me some extra wiring with connectors to make the install process that much easier and was very knowledgeable about the speakers themselves and how to install them properly. i’ve got to say the difference is night and day. i genuinely enjoy being stuck inside the van for hours on end because of how clear and crisp the audio now sounds. not too much bass but considerably more than the stocks! very pleased with my purchase and will definitely going to be bringing my personal vehicle to them for a speaker/subwoofer upgrade. would 100% recommend to others!
I had an ongoing short in my F150’s audio system. I had spent an entire day at Ford prior to my visit to FX audio, and despite charging me for an inspection that “guaranteed” a solution, no solution was given. FX audio on the other hand resolved the matter in less than 2 hours. My thanks to Dale for fixing this irritating issue with my truck, I am so grateful to be able to answer phone calls again as well as enjoys music. The pricing was more than fair and the service was top notch. Both reps (Dale and Dave) I could tell enjoy their professions, and are the kind of guys I enjoy doing business with. My thanks to you both, I highly recommend FX audio in Spruce Grove.
