Amazing, incredible service! After being asked to download and run programs for what appeared to be a reputable company, my desktop computer’s operating system files were damaged by malicious software during startup at approximately 11:40am Friday April 30, 2021. My beautiful desktop background wallpaper was gone and the screen was black, all the pre-existing program icons were missing except the Recycle Bin icon, and the only program icon showing in the taskbar was Skype. When I hovered my mouse cursor over the Windows (Start) icon the menu list did not appear – so I was not able to shut down the computer normally or get into any programs that way. I immediately called Failsafe, my call was answered on the first ring, and I met The Tech who put my computer back into money making, pre-hacking condition in just a few hours. The Tech said he had seen a similar case of corrupted files preventing start up of programs – which eased my mind considerably because I thought I might be getting my desktop back with most of my personal notes, files, photos, and programs missing. The Tech called me at 9:45am Saturday May 1, 2021 to inform me he had my desktop and all programs and files back up and running, and asked me to confirm which recently installed suspect programs I wanted removed. I was so happy and relieved when he called with the news. I immediately contacted one of my employers to let them know I’d be signing in to work at about noontime the same day and I was able to prepare for two new jobs and be ready for Monday morning. Great guy! Great service! I wasn’t overwhelmed with techy technical language when The Tech described the issue and how he was going to fix it. THANK YOU FAILSAFE!!! YOU SAVED MY PAYCHEQUE AND MY JOBS!!!
I dropped off my external hard drive and it took a month to pick it up. I paid $161 and was so excited thinking I would be able to get the old pictures of my kids back. Nope. Nothing opened and I had to drop it off again. I waited and called the shop a week after only to find out he could not restore any of the data. When I asked about the refund on the phone, he raised the voice saying he had to “babysit” my hard drive for hours. I admit that I forgot there were 2 drives and he had to charge $70×2, but instead of explaining the situation, he tried very hard to defend himself, keep saying in his loud voice that he had to “babysit” my hard drive. I am sure he was very upset with his absurd customer.
You were not babysitting my hard drive. You were doing your job. I am not trying to use your service for free, I was just upset that I had to spend $161 for NOTHING. And I know you are not responsible for my hard drive condition. But don’t you open up a couple of pictures or something to find out your BABYSITTING actually worked? I am really curious if you checked the result ofter babysitting because if you did, you fail to inform the result when I paid for your job. And if you did not, I don’t know if you are professional of what you do.
The reason why I gave 2 star is that I don’t think the owner is a bad person, but I am just totally bummed the way he dealt the situation.

Had my AiO cooler die on me on a friday night, came in Saturday morning and they helped me with everything I needed to get my outdated computer going. Even though I lost the original mounts for the cpu cooler they found one that worked for me. Cost was definitely fair and treated me extremely well. Would definitely recommend anyone in town looking to be treated fairly no matter what level of understanding of computer systems you have.
