I didn’t end up using them but feel I wanted to leave a review regardless. I’m sure these guys are great and not all experiences will be the same but it feels as though you get slightly different information depending who you speak to. I’ve been having severe PC issues for the past couple weeks that was basically making it unusable and needed it urgently looked at. As a freelancer I rely heavily on my computer and had multiple jobs on the go during these weeks and of course couldn’t be without it. I explained this to the first guy I spoke to and he had no issue with me bringing it in and informed it would be looked at straight away which of course suited me perfectly. The day I decide to bring my PC in I thought I would call ahead to see if there was anything specific I needed to bring. I ended up speaking to a completely different guy only to be informed it would be -minimum- 3-5 working days before my PC will even be looked at? And as they offer no booking service, I had no options but to either leave it with them with no real turnaround time or keep a broken PC. I totally understand working on a first come first serve basis but please do be honest about the expectations with customers because the differing information between colleagues is very frustrating.

I ended up going to Computer Gurus instead and had a wonderful experience, they fit me in that same morning and my computer was fixed within an hour.

Friendly team and good service. They replaced my M1 MacBook screen after a factory fault which Apple didn’t cover (naturally, as they are swindlers). Fixio quoted me a price which was very competitive with even online services, and did a fab job. They even cleaned my laptop which I thought was a nice touch. Definitely will use their services again in future next time I’m in a tech jam!

Ipad touch screen stopped working, they ordered a new screen but it turned out to be a more terminal problem and couldn’t fix it after all. I had paid upfront for the replacement screen but they refunded me even though it wasn’t their fault and only charged PS30 for labour which was more than fair. I have other apple devices and wouldn’t hesitate to take it to these guys.
