I purchased a pair of headphones which broke after a month. During my first visit to the store, it took 30 minutes to accept the headphones for repair under warranty service. Two weeks later, I received a phone call informing me that the headphones could not be repaired. I was offered a gift card as compensation, but I declined and requested the same model as a replacement. After a few days, I received another phone call stating that the model was not available and that I would receive a cash refund on my card. When I arrived at the shop, the staff member initially offered a gift card and claimed that he could not refund me on the card. I refused and requested to speak to the manager. After some time, another staff member came and informed me that the manager was not available, but now he could refund me on my card. Despite being first in line, the staff member spoke with colleagues and other clients, seemingly to make me wait. After 25 minutes, the refund procedure was finally completed, totaling 40 minutes of waiting. However, a few days later, I noticed that the cash had not been returned to my account. As a result, I have decided not to shop at Fnac again. My experiences with Amazon and other shops have been much better, with no issues and no waiting. Fnac does not seem to respect basic trade procedures and has terrible customer service.

Had to waste 25 minutes of my time because one employee kept directing me from one other employee to another instead of just explaining how things work for the Pass Culture.

And when I asked for help with an album that I couldn’t find, the employee was unbelievably rude and mean. I have never, in my entire life, been treated this badly as a client. He kept insulting me when I couldn’t find it and kept grumbling to himself.
It was ridiculous and I just left him there, no longer wanting to shop.

Extremely bad experience.

Nonetheless, the shop was spacious and there were lots of interesting items ! Would’ve loved to shop there more but my mood was ruined.

I absolutely looove la Fnac! You can purchase online and then collect at the shop in order to save time. But I love not saving time when I go to Fnac as I enjoy so much browsing on so many books they have! I wish Emirates baggage allowance hadn’t become so exiguous so I could bring more French books home!
