In January I had a perfectly pleasant experience with the employees of Fone Styles+, who fitted a new battery and screen for my iPhone XR. Unfortunately, the new screen caused intermittent problems with the operation of the phone (basically selecting items on the screen of its own accord – potentially pretty risky if you happen to be in your banking app…) and the new battery wasn’t lasting any longer than my previous one.
When I returned to the shop to explain the situation and discuss a possible refund, the OWNER flew into a rage, refused to listen to me, accused me of fraud (because I couldn’t magically make the phone malfunction) and trespassing (I kid you not), rang the police (!), then left the premises. The remaining staff, looking rather embarrassed, apologised and said there was nothing they could do, which I completely understand – their hands were tied.
Apparently, the customer is always wrong…

Friendly staff and pretty good range of phone cases and accessories available. They have provided various repairs for myself and other people I know over the last couple of years. I found them to be more helpful than other nearby competitors and even though I had one disappointing experience, they have mostly provided a good service and they continue to be my first port of call for phone repairs/advice etc.
Very helpful staff. Gave honest opinion on the phones available. We told them what we needed the phone for and they recommended a brand new phone and they set it up for us. Explained the warranty clearly which was 1 year for a new phone. Very happy with the service we received today. Well done, thank you so much we really appreciate it.
