I’ve got my tablet back and in working order! I love my tablet so much, always have loved my tablets’ and always will and having a fully-working one is vital to my day-to-day life as I use it as a laptop replacement and need it for many things.

Unfortunately, while I was at my desk a while ago, as I was using my tablet (plugged-in), I went backwards on my chair and the charging cable was wrapped around one of the wheel rods, so when I went backwards on my chair, the tablet flew off of my desk and the cable pulled on the charging port and as a result broke it by snapping the centre pin…

Thankfully, Fone Revive were the cheapest mobile phone shop in Penzance to offer such a repair of the USB-C charging port and even though I had to wait 5 days from when I had dropped it into them and paid for the repair for them to recieve the new USB-C charging port, when I went into the shop on the day that they had recieved the part, they did the repair just after mid-day and were done with it by 3pm.

They gave me it back with the screen cello-taped (as can be seen in the photos) and told me to leave it like that for 2 hours as the new adhesive that they had used for the screen still had to set, but I was happy that they did to make sure that I was able to take it home with myself the same day as they knew how desperate I was to get it back that day and in working order…

They also gave me two wipes that are usually supplied with screen protectors, to use when I was able to take the cello-tape off so that I could clean off the excess adhesive that had spilt out of the sides of the screen!

Over-all, thank you to the two fantastic gentlemen at Fone Revive, Penzance.

Best service in a long long time when coming to phone technology. The owner gives you so MANY options to solve your issue no matter how bad it can look! He completely fixed my phone from scratch after being dropped in the middle of the street and ran over by several cars, also he is a lovely and friendly person and the overall prices are quite reasonable!
