Shortened version (honest) of my experience with this shop.

I took my phone for repair due to a cracked screen and was quoted PS60. I asked if it needed a new screen or could the glass be replaced. The assistant was very helpful and after examined the phone and gained the model number, he called their main repair shop in Pontypridd.
After a minute or two he said yes it could be done but there was no glass in the country for my phone and that id have to pay a deposit of PS20 and whe ln was available it would be ordered.
I wasn’t convinced of this so did my own research. I could get the glass direct from China so went back to the shop to check before I ordered. Again, the same helpful person rang the shop in Pontypridd, and the same info was received, I asked how much they’d charge for replacing the glass -PS30. so I ordered the glass.
When the glass and fitting tool arrived 2 weeks later I took them to the shop, this time it was a different person, apparently the person I spoke to before was on holiday or not working there anymore. It’s a but strange I thought.
I explained my coversations I had to his colleague previously and told him I was quoted PS30 to replace the glass, he examined it and took the phone from me, told me he’d take it to the shop in Pontypridd for repair and would call me on Monday but I had no call so went to the shop on Tuesday. Apparently I gave him the wrong number ….just love that!
He told me the repair wasn’t possible and that I needed to pay PS180 to replace the LCD. he apologiesed and blamed his colleague who gave the wrong information to start with. I told him he called your shop in Pontypridd to check the repair was possible before i oredered the glass and now I’ve lost money from the purchase of it on the information I was given.
I needed to buy phone that day so went back the next day to get a discount for their mistakes. The same person i saw the day before pointed out 2 cases for the phone I now had, I chose one, and he opened it and it was just right. He went back to the main desk, tore open a gorilla glass packet and while placing it on the screen I told him i didnt like those type of protectors. But he continued and then asked my to pay PS20, I said I wasn’t prepared to pay that and reminded him of my situation. I don’t like the gorilla glass so I’ll give you half. He took the glass protector off and put it in the bin. I paid PS5 for the case. Apologies for the long winded story all.
What a bunch of cowboys!

Went in to buy an iphone as mine is on its way out. He tried to sell me one (which i brought but at the time didnt realise) that was only worth PS40 as it had a different battery in. Went elsewhere to find i could get a better iPhone for the same price. I went back with the phone and told him i want my money back and he gave me attitude. Im waiting now on the money to come back in my account while im stuck with my old phone struggling with it.

DO NOT USE THEM. THEY ARE CRAP AND CANT BE TRUSTED.

Im reporting them to trading standards.

I was visiting Bridgend and my phone wouldn’t work. The young man working there spent 40 minutes trying to remove my SIM card from a damaged tray. He then repaired the tray and put the SIM card back in. My phone worked! I was traveling a long way next day and I needed my phone to access my ticket’s etc. He was so kind and wouldn’t take any payment not even for his time. I can’t thank him enough.
